Staying Organized

It’s really important that as a businessperson, you need to stay organized. Doing it all by the book. Managing time efficiently and automating repeatable tasks can be the difference between you failing or thriving in business.

Maintain accurate business financial records by recording every transaction (customer billings and vendor payments) into the appropriate account at least once a week and keeping an eye on the bottom line. Maintain copies of all invoices, cash receipts, and cash payments for bookkeeping and tax purposes.

Set (and keep) deadlines: Use project management software to stay on top of administrative responsibilities, like setting deadlines, assigning work to personnel, and uploading documents to a common repository.

Plan ahead: Plan your social media efforts ahead of time using social media scheduling software. Follow up on new prospects with email marketing automation. Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams can help you communicate quickly with your team.
